We’ve been responsible with the project management and the construction management for retrofitting the main production buildings of a dry laundry detergent plant. Works included jacketing the foundations, columns and shear-walls, masonry demolition, demolition and installation of new staircases, carbon fiber application on beams, and casting/installing new structural elements. Topping on slabs was redone. For this works significant equipment relocation was needed including all the man electrical panels of making building.

Although many challenges, especially the construction in parallel with operation the project was executed impeccably, a high level of commitment & discipline was needed in order to finalize the construction works.

Team was able to drive a 4 weeks shut-down reduction by smart scope choice and scope reduction and use of special technology, which was recognized by the community as a benchmark shut-down approach and resulted in significant cost reduction from inventory.
